Wife: Barbara
After graduating from high school, Ron traveled to California to attend college and remained there. Professionally, he established himself as a consulting economist to financial institutions.
Family wise, he married and raised three wonderful children. He retired in 1993 and now spends his time traveling, fishing and otherwise pursuing outdoor type activities.
2007 Upate:
Soon after high school I moved to Southern California where I attended college. After college I enetered the business world with employment at an economic consulting firm. Later I formed my own firm as a consulting economist to financial institutions. I retired from my business career in 1993 and have since spent my time enjoying my family, traveling, and spending time between our two homes, one in the coastal Southern California area and the other near Yellowstone Park.
I married the former Barbara Welch, a 1962 graduate of Lake Stevens High School, who I actually met in Southern California. We have three children, two of which have married and provided us with three grandchildren, and another due within several weeks of this writing. I remain happy and healthy and keep up a rigorous outdoor lifestyle with golfing, fly fishing, backpacking and expedition kayaking.
I wish all the best for the class of '57 and am sorry I could not attend the reunion.
