2007 Update:
After graduation I started my apprenticeship in sheet metal, also Sharon Bertsch and I got married June 21, 1957. We have two children, a girl named Shelley and a boy named Chad. They both have three children - Shelley one boy and two girls; Chad has three boys.
I worked on commerical sheet metal before switching over to industrial shee metal. A lot of the work was on mills and required quite a bit of traveling, mostly in Washington State.
In 1983 I went to work for a company that did all of Nordstrom's air conditioning in their new stores and later remodeling the stores after they got to be ten years old and older. We got to see about nineteen states and spent from one month to six months on each store. The last store I worked on was the Nordstrom downtown store in Seattle.
I retired in 1998 and after a body overhaul we bought a motor home and have been able to travel about 10,000 miles per year. We have slowed down a little this last couple years.
After we got married we lived in Everett for eleven years then moved to Lake Stevens. We built our home and have been here for 39 years and if anyone wants to buy it, its FOR SALE! (I think).
