When we were whipper-snappers bouncing around the Lake, there was no such entertainment as the "AquaFest". There was only closing time at the Wagon Wheel or Pete's Tavern, and maybe an occasional beer run to Lochsloys. This year's gala was held on July 28, 29 and 30, 2000. I didn't realize that many people know where Lake Stevens IS. For the benefit of those who haven't been, here are some photos taken at AquaFest on Saturday, July 29th, Jim Mitchell in attendance (Looks a lot like his dad now).
